Installation
As a Microsoft product Groove works best in MS Windows. Place disc in drive, and click install.
you are asked for a serial number which has been supplied.
Once the product is installed, the user is asked to create a new account, or to use an existing one. Creating an account is straightforward, and involves setting up usernames, and passwords. using an existing account is also straight forward, and involves pointing groove to a file created in another instance of Groove.

To Create a Discussion
To create a new discussion, click on the discussion tab at the bottom of the screen. The discussion tool opens. Select New > Topic.
To Create a New Workspace
To create a new workspace: click on New > Workspace. Select the type of workspace you want to create and give it a name.
To Invite a Person to Groove
Invitations are handled in Groove by e-mailing files to team members. In the workspace you want to share, click File > Save Invitation as File, and then email the file to team-members.
Conclusion
With a price-tag of $300 Groove is a costly undertaking. It's a decent tool for handling offline team-members. Groove offers more functionality, but at the cost of being a little more confusing. Handling users is much more effective, with Groove than with Collanis.
